Key Club 101

Key Club is an international student led, non-profit service organization which is established in 38 countries, in thousands of high schools and secondary schools worldwide. It is a branch of the Kiwanis Family and aims to serve the children of the world by carrying out a variety of service projects. The organization is led by the international board; comprising of the president, vice-president and 11 trustees, and is divided into 33 organized districts and one district in formation. These districts are in turn run by the district board which comprises of the governor, secretary, treasurer , editor, secretary-treasurer and webmaster. The district board also comprises of various committee chairpersons as well as a number of lieutenant governors who lead the divisions (grouping of clubs in an area) of the district. Key clubbers strive to develop themselves into young leaders and leave a positive impact on their schools and communities.
